The RACGP has designed Fridayfacts to deliver content that is brief but informative - news items that are concise, with priority given to national College and government news.Fridayfacts is sent to GPs and clinics around the country by html e-mail linking to an online pdf. The ‘newsletter’ is devoted to delivering timely news, information and alerts for doctors first thing every Friday. 95% of recipients are GPs and the remainder is with government health departments, universities and other interested health organisations.Fridayfacts is extremely well received and often forward to other GPs within a practice suggesting a reach greater than 22 000.It is an ‘opt’ in service with subscribers always growing.

Send us your national news items

A streamlined online submission process for national news items is available at www.racgp.org.au/fridayfacts/submissions. The word limit is 150 words per item. Please do not submit your items by email. Due to space limitations not all submissions can be included. State specific news of national relevance will be considered for inclusion. We may need to edit your submission for length and style.

Only two exclusive advertising positions are available per issue, the front cover or second page. For a complete rate card detailing advertising rates and other information please click the request link below. Pharmaceutical product advertising not accepted. Rates include 10% agency commission and excludes 10% gst

Mechanical specifications

Material must be supplied in two forms.

1. HTML email colour strip: 150 pixels high x 700 pixels wide supplied as a gif or jpg. File must be less than 40 kb.

2. PDF colour strip: 40mm deep x 187mm wide supplied as a high res 300dpi RGB pdf.
