Pharmacy Self Care is the leading health information and education program in Australian pharmacy produced by the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia.

The program is designed to increase the professional capacity of pharmacists and pharmacy staff and maximise the opportunities presented by the pharmacy setting to provide primary healthcare to all Australians.

Through these resources, Pharmacy Self Care:

Provides evidence-based, peer-reviewed, accessible health information and advice to a broad range of consumers through the pharmacy setting;

Educates pharmacists and their staff about their role in primary health care and their role in public health;

Equips pharmacists and their staff to provide health education and consumer support, through the provision of high quality education materials;

Works in partnership with other organisations to capitalise on pharmacy’s primary health care function;

Promotes the role of pharmacy to consumers and other health care professionals.
